About Gemma
A person-centred counsellor dedicated to creating a warm, non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace.
Hello, I’m Gemma
I’m a person-centred counsellor dedicated to creating a warm, non-judgemental environment where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences.
Whether you’re facing life’s challenges, carrying shame or stigma, or simply seeking support to reconnect with yourself, you’ll find a space here to be truly heard and understood.
I believe that safety doesn’t always come from cosy corners or quiet rooms. Sometimes it grows slowly, from within — through being seen, heard, and understood. Safe Space Counselling offers a space to rediscover that inner ground.
A place where you can reconnect with trust in yourself, and learn that your safe space isn’t out there somewhere… it’s already with you, wherever you go.
Your sessions,
your way.
Every session is shaped entirely around you. There’s no fixed agenda, no pressure to arrive at answers, and no judgement about what you bring into the room.
We work at your pace. Some people find it helpful to talk through specific situations or feelings; others prefer to explore more openly. Either way, I’m here to listen, reflect, and support you in finding your own way forward.
Sessions are available in person in Stroud, as walk and talk in local nature, or online — whatever feels most comfortable for you.
Her balanced and gentle encouragement to challenge deep-seated, lifelong beliefs has successfully rewired my fundamental thought processes, drastically improving my resilience and ability to manage adversity. I am deeply grateful for her guidance.
